SICKCARE VS HEALTHCARE
As a chronic Lupus patient, I’ve been subjected to our so called “sickcare” system more than I’d like.
I believe the system is great for acute injuries and traumas, such as car accidents, etc. However, it’s not a system that promotes wellness and prevention.
So as a patient for over 20 years, I’ve learned that the most important ingredient in achieving health is a mindset shift.
YOUR BELIEFS MANIFEST
Achieving optimal health comes down to what you as a patient believe.
If you believe you have an incurable disease, you may also believe only the Doctors have the answers to your problems.
However, if you’re like me, you realize a pill for every ill does not promote health and wellness.
If you believe you can absolutely heal even when the medical system says you can’t, you’ll decide to take matters into your own hands by choosing to do your part in creating health.
You’ll begin to think, eat, and move in such a way to promote wellness. Also, you’ll decide to manage your stress.
We all know that when we do all the healthy things, we can’t help but to create health.
