Dr. Connie fell in LOVE with Hot Yoga. With her body constantly aching and hurting from Lupus, she found the warmth of the room performing Yoga provided me with an exhilarating feeling that I was craving for.

Meditation can be elusive. For many people "CRAVE" the quiet and want desperately to achieve a sense of "CALM" and "ZEN". It's an important element for our overall health. We've use a training method, HEART MATH™ which is a science based technology to live your life to the fullest with heart.
Most of us struggle with anxiety, depression, and lack of focus. This is because our Autonomic Nervous system which has two divisions, Sympathetic and Parasympathetic.
Sympathetic Nervous System mainly controls our "FIGHT OR FLIGHT" state and our Parasympathetic Nervous System is our "CALM" state. Both are necessary components but our lives in the 21st Century triggers more the "FIGHT OR FLIGHT" from the increasing stressors and stimulations that we receive from the demands of our increasingly "connected" lives.
Key is to "SHIFT" our state to a "COHERENT" state, which can be learned. Leslie Lipsius, RYT 200 hr, HMCP is our expert in coaching you through this process.
Yoga is not the DESTINATION. It's an amazing MEANS to an END. Pretzel poses are not necessary, its about respecting our individual genes and physiology and enhancing it's ability to move in space with grace.

We believe in "quality" over "quantity". Our Instructors are trained to be meticulous with alignment and posture. Our classes are designed to help you progress in your personal practice. With the high level understanding of anatomy and physiology, our instructors are qualified to help you keep your body safe. You will learn to practice Yoga specific to your body vs force your body to fit the practice of Yoga.
Our Instructors are trained by Dr. Connie through the Alkaline Yoga Teacher Certification which heavily emphasizes Rehab, anatomy, physiology, and proper alignment. They are trained to respect YOUR physiology and tailor the Yoga experience to suit your needs as opposed to fit you to the experience of Yoga.
If you have pre-existing medical conditions, Autoimmune Conditions, Fibromyalgia, cancer, joint/muscle pain, strain, sprain, joint replacements, osteoporosis, low back or neck surgery, you'll feel safe at our studio. We are trained to handle such conditions to ensure that you stay safe with your yoga experience.
We believe there are fundamentals to a safe practice. Body awareness is a practice that's cultivated over time. We are not like most Yoga studios where you're in a crowded yoga studio where it's impossible for the instructor to pay attention to detail. You'll learn the proper muscle memory the first time so you set yourself for success and decrease your risk for injury and degeneration in the future.
We are the average of 5 people we surround ourselves with. We provide a "safe" place for you to truly BE you. Feeling comfortable with ourselves is an inside job. In our studio, you'll feel safe in being surrounded by like minded individuals with the similar goals of finding beauty from the inside. All of us aiming to be the better version of ourselves everyday, no judgement, or comparison because we all are on the same journey.
