Can food be inflammatory? YES.

The following foods can cause inflammation when consumed:

  1. Fast food consumption
  2. 6.5 % of adults eat at fast food restaurants
  3. Fast foods contributed more than one third of total calorie intake
  4. Lower levels of vitamin A, carotenoids, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, fruits, and vegetables
  5. Increased intake of soft drinks
  6. Refined foods = Cytokines = inflammation= accelerated aging
