green apple smoothie

This green apple smoothie is tart and packed with nutrients of fruits and vegetables. This smoothie has a good amount of sugar in it. While it is all from natural sources, it will still make your blood sugar spike. The fiber from the fruits and vegetables will help slow that, but you may also want to eat a protein with this smoothie. That will slow digestion in the stomach, so the release of sugar in the blood is also slowed. Enjoy this sweet treat!
