It’s hard being a kid these days with so much distractions coming from all angles of life. Yoga teaches kids to foster self awareness to understand who they truly are. Rather than seeking external validation, they will learn to tune inward for wisdom and guidance.
PROMOTE HEALTHY POSTURE
Because so many kids are in their brain, they lose their connection to their body. Too often kids are slumped over with poor body awareness and posture. Yoga teaches them to cultivate body awareness and promote healthy posture for healthy brain and development.
Too many kids are distracted and are dependent on external stimulation. Yoga helps to cultivate a quite mind and allows them to understand how to quiet their mind by connecting to their breath with movement. This has profound physiological benefit to the growing body.
Kids are stressed to the max with increasing expectations for what “ought” to be. School is competitive and world is at their finger tips. Yoga allows for transformative change from the inside to allow for them to connect to their body through movement, meditation, and breath.

So much suffering is caused by our thoughts about our circumstances. In school, we are not taught to manage our minds to serve our highest potential. Yoga allows for kids to understand the workings of their mind and manage it to serve their goals and needs.

Yoga is a movement that will benefit all ages and phases of life. It will fit and tone thier body, mind, and soul to enrich their experience in this world and develop healthier outlook on their lives. Positive attitude, compassion, and joy are examples of attributes that they will gain through the practice of Yoga.
