Meet Leslie Lipsius

Leslie is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. She graduated in the Class of 2016 with a Bachelors of Science in Dietetics. Her interest in the field of Dietetics piqued in high school when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She saw the effects a healthy, nutrient dense diet had on slowing her mother’s cancer, ultimately leading to a successful treatment and recovery. After this experience, Leslie became a firm believer that food is medicine and decided to study nutrition.

As the Nutritionist at Alkaline Wellness Center, Leslie's goal is to teach patients about using food as medicine.  Leslie hopes to continue to learn about nutrition and functional medicine, and go on to become a Registered Dietitian.
