Infrared Heat for Optimal Healing
Our Founder Dr. Connie fell in love with Hot Yoga. With her body constantly aching and hurting from an autoimmune condition, she found the warmth of the room coupled with Yoga was exhilarating in a way that was second to none.
Our Yoga room has Infrared Heating system which enhances healing all around. Infrared healing has the following benefits:

Meditation can be elusive. For many people “CRAVE” the quiet and want desperately to achieve a sense of “CALM” and “ZEN”. It’s an important element for our overall health. We’ve use a training method, HEART MATH™ which is a science based technology to live your life to the fullest with heart.
Most of us struggle with anxiety, depression, and lack of focus. This is because our Autonomic Nervous system which has two divisions, Sympathetic and Parasympathetic.
Sympathetic Nervous System mainly controls our “FIGHT OR FLIGHT” state and our Parasympathetic Nervous System is our “CALM” state. Both are necessary components but our lives in the 21st Century triggers more the “FIGHT OR FLIGHT” from the increasing stressors and stimulations that we receive from the demands of our increasingly “connected” lives.
Key is to “SHIFT” our state to a “COHERENT” state, which can be learned. Leslie Lipsius, RYT 200 hr, HMCP is our expert in coaching you through this process.
We also offer MEDITATION workshops and YIN/MEDITATION classes to help you cultivate peace from within.

With the high level understanding of anatomy and physiology, our instructors are qualified to help you keep your body safe. You will learn to practice Yoga specific to your body vs force your body to fit the practice of Yoga.

Each of our Practitioners have gone through extensive training in the Alkaline Method ™. With rigorous standards, our program emphasizes Rehab, anatomy, physiology, and proper alignment. Our professional Practitioners are trained to respect YOUR physiology and tailor the Yoga experience to suit your needs as opposed to fit you to the experience of Yoga.
If you have pre-existing medical conditions, Autoimmune Conditions, Fibromyalgia, cancer, joint/muscle pain, strain, sprain, joint replacements, osteoporosis, low back or neck surgery, you’ll feel safe at our studio. We are trained to handle such conditions to ensure that you stay safe with your yoga experience.
We believe there are fundamentals to a safe practice. Body awareness is a practice that’s cultivated over time. We are not like most Yoga studios where you’re in a crowded yoga studio where it’s impossible for the instructor to pay attention to detail. You’ll learn the proper muscle memory the first time so you set yourself for success and decrease your risk for injury and degeneration in the future.

This was my first class at Alkaline, though I’m not new to yoga. I took the Root class with Gina, and it was fantastic! Gina guided us through every pose with detail and skill. I learned a few new poses and also new postures to focus on, explained in a new way! Gina is a great teacher, friendly, strong, engaging, challenging, and the perfect amount of gentle that I love about yoga. Looking forward to trying some other classes!
I absolutely loved the class at Alkaline Yoga. Victoria is sweet, funny and a great instructor, who talked and explained each pose and made sure you were doing it the right way. The facility is well maintained and has a good setup. Even though this location was a bit further for me I was so happy that she had more class timings and different levels of yoga that fits your needs. Even a cold, Monday evening after a long weekend and tiring workday, I have to drag myself to the class but once I am there I am so glad I didn’t skip and enjoy it a lot. Now, its become a part of my weekly routine and I look forward to the class!
